Qwest Center Omaha will be rocking with one of America's great rockers, and you can get Tom Petty tickets for the Sunday, July 20 concert here at Ticket Express.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers burst on the scene in 1977 with their first single, "Breakdown." The band caught fire in the late 1970's with their album "Damn The Torpedoes," which included the hits "Don't Do Me Like That" and "Refugee."
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tickets were a hot item throughout much of the 1980's, but Petty ventured beyond the band late in the decade, joining Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison and Jeff Lynne in a group called "The Traveling Wilburys." The group recorded two albums together (the second without Orbison, who died before recording of the second album began), and Petty released a solo album in 1989, "Full Moon Fever," which included hits "I Won't Back Down," "Free Fallin'" and "Runnin' Down A Dream."
Tom Petty got back together with the Heartbreakers for 1991's "Into The Great Wide Open" and "Mary Jane's Last Dance," and the band continued rocking into the 21st century with songs such as "You Don't Know How It Feels" and "It's Good To Be King."
Petty's musicial influence has also been noted in the sports world. In 2006, he was hired by ABC to create music for part of its coverage of the NBA playoffs. Most recently, Petty and the Heartbreakers were the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl XLII matchup between the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002, so don't miss out on a chance to see one of the all-time greats in rock perform live. Get your Tom Petty tickets here at Ticket Express.
